Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Agreement

By installing or using Manager ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.

What the Service does

Manager is a Slack application that helps you capture knowledge, manage tasks, prepare for meetings, and think through decisions via conversation. It optionally integrates with third-party services (Google Calendar, GitHub) at your request.

Your data

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Manager. We store your data to operate the Service and do not sell it to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, retention, and deletion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Third-party integrations

Manager integrates with third-party services including Slack, Anthropic (Claude API), Google Calendar, and GitHub. Your use of these integrations is subject to those services' own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

When you connect Google Calendar, Manager accesses your calendar data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy. You can revoke access at any time.

AI-generated content

Manager uses AI to generate responses, summaries, and suggestions. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information or actions suggested by Manager before relying on them.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant planned downtime.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MRDN Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost data, missed deadlines, or inaccurate AI output.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling it from Slack. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you can request deletion of your data per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via Slack DM to workspace administrators. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
